My horn started blowing on its own with no control from the horn button. It will blow for about 30 seconds randomly then shut off. Sometimes while the car is driving but mostly when the car is off with the key out of the ignition. It will also be set off sometimes by locking the car when the horn is supposed to sound. Its unsafe when it goes off while im driving and also that I can not honk it while driving in the event of someone trying to turn or merge into me. This seems to be an issue with the clock spring inside the steering wheel. *tr

My 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon lhd indicates a fault with the airbag system. When pulling out from an intersection the airbag warning light came on with an accompanying chime. The light now flashes on and off with its chime regularly during average city driving. An existing recall and subsequent warranty extension has been granted for previous model year wranglers and rhd wranglers, the problems noted in the reports for those vehicles appear the same as the faults I am experiencing in my vehicle. I believe this fault puts my wife at risk if, in the event of a collision the airbag will not deploy because of a faulty clock spring on the steering column. *tr

The air bag warning light and chime come on randomly multiple times while operating the vehicle. The issue is due to a malfunctioning or defective clockspring in the steering column. This was confirmed to be the issue with my vehicle by faircy boys jeep dealership in colorado springs, colorado. There has already been a recall or warranty extension on the same model jeeps but only for 2007. This same issue is occurring in the 2008 models, and so the recall needs to be extended to this model year as well. *tr
